4B Braime CSA Touchswitch™
The Touchswitch is an electro-mechanical limit switch with no moving parts, which detects tracking and misalignment problems on bucket elevators and conveyors. When a belt misaligns or a pulley moves over and contacts the sensor, the built in solid-state electronic circuitry detects the lateral force of the belt or pulley and activates a voltage free solid state relay output. This output signal is used to immediately alarm and ultimately shutdown the machine.
The face of the sensor is made from hardened and annealed stainless steel, not soft brass or aluminium, so wear life is longer when a belt contacts it. The sensor is not affected by dust or material build up and will still work when completely covered by material. An external test wheel allows for quick and simple sensor/system testing. The sensors are usually installed in pairs on opposite sides of the machine. The sensors can be connected directly to a PLC input, or for greater safety, to a central independent monitoring system, such as Watchdog Super Elite, IE-Node or the T500 Hotbus system.
4B Braime Drop Forged Rivetless Chains for Feed & Washing Tables
Drop Forged Rivetless chains are typically used as overhead conveyors on automotive assembly lines, paint lines, appliance assembly lines, sugar mills and in the meat packaging industry.
These chains have high strength, simple construction and do not require any tools assembly. The open design between pin and centre link prevent the conveying material from packing the joints. All parts are heat-treated and “T” pins ensure positive locking action in the sidebars.
4B Braime Easifit Tools
Easifit elevator bolts require a specialized ratchet. The ratchet has been designed to grip the hexagon tip, holding the bolt in place place while the nut is tightened. The ratchet is available in either a standard hand model or in a pneumatic air version.

4B Braime F500 Elite Fieldbus Gateway (W)
This version of the F500 Elite Fieldbus gateway has been designed to work as a Watchdog Elite communications gateway and allows up to 10 Watchdog control units to be networked together through RS-485 communication BUS. The Watchdog data is then converted to a Fieldbus protocol. Supported protocols include: Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP, Modbus RTU, DeviceNet, Profibus and others on request.
