4B Braime
4B Braime SBR Elevator Belt – Abrasion Resistant
4B elevator belting is of laminar construction, to give high impact resistance coupled with low stretch at working tension. The EP carcass comprises a woven textile construction having low stretch polyester fabric warp (along its length) and impact resistant polyamide fabric weft (across the width). The low stretch characteristics of the belt are achieved using the high strength textile fabric which is pre-tensioned during the manufacturing process. This process limits the maximum stretch in the belt, at working strength, to 1.5%.
4B Braime Speed Relay
The Speed Relay is used to monitor the speed of a rotating shaft and detect if it rises or falls below a preset safety level.
The DIN rail mounted speed relay can be used with any Rotech encoder, and with 4B’s WDA or P800 proximity sensors. A user adjustable underspeed relay contact output can sound an alarm or shutdown machinery when the shaft speed falls below the preset level.
4B Braime SpeedMaster™
The SpeedMaster™ with Pulse Pilot is the only device that accurately tests the calibration of a speed switch, and allows testing of the 10% alarm and 20% shutdown features of the sensor while installed on the machine shaft.
The SpeedMaster™ operates in two modes. Input mode is used to measure the pulse rate at normal speed. Output mode will allow the user to simulate belt underspeed for testing purposes.
The Pulse Pilot fits between the gap between the sensor and the target. The Pulse Pilot will have no effect on the operation of the speed switch until it is connected to the SpeedMaster™ and set to Output mode.
