4B Braime PLC Expansion Board

A discrete PLC input card providing 4 solid state relay outputs for belt speed, belt misalignment, bearing temperature and plug indication.

4B Braime PP800/4 2+2 NBR T120 HOT OIL Belt

This special belt offers resistance to the combination of fats and oils and higher processing temperature up to 120˚C in often humid working environments. The belt is specially aimed at solving high temperature problems in processing of soya beans, cattle feed, rape seed and fat processing.

4B Braime Programmable Tachocount

The TACH3V5 Tacho is low cost electronic display which can be user programmed to indicate speed, distance or time intervals. The unit incorporates a 4 digit red LED display with programmable auto decimal point, in a DIN 96 x 48 enclosure (panel cut-out size: 92 x 44 mm). A relay output is provided for speed control use.

4B Braime PT100 Expansion Board

Provides the ability to connect 4 additional PT100 Platinum RTD temperature sensors to the control unit.  A total of two boards can be installed, providing a total of 8 PT100 inputs.

4B Braime Pullswitch

PVC coated steel pull wires and pigtails connect between the switches to provide easy installation and continuous emergency stop access along the length of the entire conveyor. Pullswitches can be installed at 60m intervals, reducing overall system cost. Quick location of a tripped switch is provided by a standard reflector or optional flag marker, and the tripped signal can be wired back to an indicator panel or PLC. The Pullswitch’s IP65 / NEMA 4, 4X, 9 rated enclosure is made from polycarbonate and stainless steel, making the housing corrosion resistant and weatherproof. A total of six positive break contacts inside the Pullswitch offer unique operation and control. Two independent cam operated switches with snap action mechanical operation are provided for conveyor shutdown, and four additional micro-switches signal for a slack wire alarm.

4B Braime R500 Elite Alarm Relay Interface

The R500 is a microprocessor-controlled unit, which accepts signals from the T500 Elite Hotbus™ monitor, and is able to cause alarm or shutdown of equipment when a sensor exceeds its programmed alarm tolerance.

4B Braime RG1 Level Sensor

The RG1 Level Sensor has been designed to indicate the presence or absence of bulk materials such as grains, pellets, chemicals, wood chips and other powders. The detection of material is achieved by a rotating paddle. If material impedes the rotation of the paddle, the motor topples of its axis and triggers an alarm. The RG1 has a variety of compatible paddles which offer the ability to detect a wide range of products.

4B Braime RHV Type Toothed Driving Wheels Sprockets For Bucket Elevators

The individual teeth of the RHV wheels can be adjusted, as the pitch of the chain increases due to wear, by fitting shimplates. This will increase the P.C.D. of the wheel and ensure the smooth running of the chain over the wheel.

4B Braime RLI

The RLI rotary paddle switch is designed to detect high and low levels of bulk granular solids in bins, tanks, silos, and as blockage detectors in spouts. The detection of material is achieved by a rotating paddle. If material impedes the rotation of the paddle, the motor topples of its axis and triggers a contact. The power supply to the motor is cut and the contact signals that a critical level has been reached, which will cause the motor for any inlet or outlet to close down or start up. When the level of the material reaches normal levels again, the motor returns to its initial position and restarts.

4B Braime RLI Shaker

The RLI “SHAKER” rotary paddle switch is used to detect high and low levels of bulk granular solids in bins, tanks and silos. It can also be used to detect plug conditions in spouts, where long life and fail-safe detection is required. Utilizing a unique stepper motor drive, the RLI “SHAKER” rotates clockwise, then counter-clockwise and then shakes to shed any excess material build up. If the paddle rotation is impeded at any time by the bulk material then the electronic circuit provides a signal for level indication or control. The RLI “SHAKER” uses fewer mechanical parts compared with standard rotary level indicators. No gearbox or clutch is required as the stepper motor drive is directly coupled to the output shaft and is practically indestructible and cannot be damaged by forced or backwards rotation. Also, an adjustable torque control allows one unit to cover many different densities of material, and provides easy on site calibration without having to change paddles.

4B Braime Rotech Encoder – Stainless Steel

The 4B heavy duty stainless steel Rotech rotary shaft encoder is used primarily for protecting equipment and personnel from dangerous underspeed/belt slip conditions in extreme environments. Other applications include accurate speed control, direction of rotation detection, gate position indication and counting the number of revolutions of the shaft. An inductive sensing device in the body of the encoder detects a steel rotor. On slow speed or accurate position control, a photo diode detects the slots on a steel disk. One pulse is created for each rotor or slot so the unit can be connected directly to a PLC/computer or 4B control module. The shaft to be monitored is drilled and taped to take the 1/2 in. UNC Rotech Bolt. The unit is secured to the shaft with this bolt and is able to move with the shaft. No guards are required as the rotating components are encased inside the housing of the encoder. No brackets are required as the encoder couples directly to the end of the shaft and floats with the shaft.

4B Braime Rotech Shaft Encoder – Aluminium

The 4B heavy duty aluminium Rotech rotary shaft encoder is used primarily for protecting equipment and personnel from dangerous underspeed/belt slip conditions in extreme environments. One pulse is created for each rotor or slot so the unit can be connected directly to a PLC/computer or 4B control module. The shaft to be monitored is drilled and taped to take the 1/2 in.
